    Ingredients


    • 235g Plain flour

    • 30g Caster sugar

    • 10g Baking powder

    • 4g Bicarbonate soda

    • 4g Salt

    • 430g Buttermilk

    • 5g Vanilla

    • 2 Eggs

    • 110g President Unsalted Butter

    • 100g Strawberries

    • 10g Caster sugar

    • 25g Maple syrup

    • 20g President Whipped cream

  • Method

    • 1 Combine the flour, caster sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt in a bowl.

    • 2 Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.

    • 3 Whisk the buttermilk, vanilla and eggs in a separate bowl

    • 4 Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, then add the melted butter

    • 5 Whisk until smooth, stopping once the flour is incorporated.

    • 6 Heat the waffle iron and lightly oil or butter it. Add enough batter to cover the plates then cook until golden and crisp.
